HSS Drill Bits are extremely hardwearing and especially well designed for drilling into metal surfaces, as they are much more resistant to the heat generated from the fast speed operation. The front edges cut the material, whilst the spirals remove debris from the hole. Soft, light pressure should be applied when using smaller bits to prevent them from breaking. HSS bits can be also be used for drilling wood and plastic.
Our Metric Taps are perfect for cutting and cleaning internal and external threads, for use at home or in the garage. It's important that the correct size for the job is used and with various pieces in each tap and die set, you’re sure to find the right size to suit your needs.
